Novelty Spain boosts technical excellence with Modulo Player training

From 21 to 24 July, Novelty Spain's Barcelona headquarters hosts the Modulo Player training, one of the most versatile media server solutions. Over four days, part of our technical team trains intensively — alongside external professionals from the sector — in media servers, video mapping, live mixing, show control and interactive AV technologies.

Four days of intensive training on Modulo Player

This training combines theory with hands-on practice based on real live-event scenarios. Throughout the week, our technicians work on creating and encoding shows, live mixing, warping for video mapping and setting up show control systems.

The Modulo Player brings media server, live mixer and show control functions together in a single environment. Mastering it fully means our team can prepare complex set-ups with greater agility and respond confidently to the last-minute changes any live production demands.

The programme progresses from the first guided shows through to architectural mapping on physical structures. The areas covered by the training include:

• Video mapping and warping on complex surfaces
• Live mixing of live sources
• Show control and integration via DMX, Art-Net, OSC and MIDI protocols
• Interactive systems using the Digimap feature

Each module is built around practical exercises, and the week closes with a final exercise that validates the level each participant has reached.
